Do you remember your childhood fears?

That irrational, inescapable terror that someone, something, was watching you from the shadows?

Night Terrors is a short, atmospheric survival horror game about childhood fears made manifest. The game is primarily centered around trial-and-error. 

Headphones highly recommended.

Current features:

• Multiple different enemies, each with different gameplay patterns.
• Four different difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare.
• Rain on Hard and Nightmare difficulties.
• Unnerving sound design.
• Faulty wiring.
• PSX/retro style graphics.

Controls:

• WASD to move.
• Right-click to interact.
• Left-click to toggle flashlight.
• Shift to sprint.
• CTRL to crouch.
• Space to jump.
• ESC to toggle settings menu.
• Alt + F4 to exit game.

Gameplay:

• You can hide under beds, in closets, and under the table in the living room.
  
• Your flashlight has limited battery — once it's flat, it's gone forever.
• The power goes out throughout the night. You can reset it via the breaker switch in the garage.

• More enemies.
• Main menu redesign.
• Map details change depending on difficulty selected.
• Dynamic weather.
• Bugfixes, quality-of-life fixes, and polish.

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated! Please try to be specific (I.E. "this features feels too punishing" rather than "too hard") as it makes implementing suggestions much easier.
